Yachting at Mallorca and Menorca

If you are planning for some wonderful sailing vacations then consider Mallorca and Menorca for this purpose.  There are plenty of ports and harbors in these beautiful islands.  Choosing the port of Mahon in Menorca and the harbor of the Palma city in Mallorca will be a perfect idea.

These places are not only enriched with the sailing sites but they are also rich in culture, history and tradition.  Yachting done with a little exploration of the history and culture can make the time much more memorable. You will find the taste of both British and France in these two islands. This is because they were occupied by the British in the year 1708 and then France in the year 1782.

Sailing is not the only fun activity to do in Mallorca and Menorca. A little side tripping can make your time much more joyful.  Plenty of birds are found in these islands. They include black vultures, Gulls, scoop owls, falcons and warblers. Almost 200 species of bird are found here.

The sea cliffs at Mallorca are the perfect place to watch birds.  The Boquer valley in Mallorca can make you see these amazing birds from closer.  The sea cliffs in both Mallorca and Menorca are indeed famous among all of the Balearic Islands.
